• Constable: 470
• Driver: 12
• Assistant Commandant: 05

Age:

Applicant should be having min 18 to 25 for Driver, Min 20 to max 25 year for Constable, Min 20 to Max 24 for Assistant Squad Commander

Education:

• Constable (WO/WT/OPR): 12th (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
• Constable (UB): HSSLC
• Constable (Messenger): HSLC or equivalent
• Constable (Carpenter): HSLC or equivalent and passed prescribed ITI course in trade
• Constable (Dispatch Rider): HSLC or equivalent and must possess valid driving license for LMV,MMV & HMV
• Asst Squad Commander: 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
• Driver (Operator): VIII passed and must possess valid driving license for HMV
   

Assam Police Constable Selection Process:

• Physical Standard Test
• Physical Efficiecy Test
• Male / Transgender Candidates
  • Race: 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes
  • Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm
• Female Candidates :
  • Race : 1600 metres race to be completed within 08 minutes
  • Long Jump: Minimum 244 cm
