• Dredge Cadets: 15
• Trainee Marine Engineer: 15
• Trainee Electrical Engineer: 15
• Near Coastal Voyage Trainees: 10

Age:

Applicant age should not be more than 25 year for Near Coastal Voyage Trainees whereas for others maximum 30 year for GEN Category

Education:

Applicant should be having as per norms given below:

• Dredge Cadets: Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)
• Trainee Marine Engineers: 4 years Degree in Marine Engineering
• Trainee Electrical Officers: 4 years Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation
• Near Costal Voyage Trainees: Xth Class Pass and Pre-Sea G.P Rating Course and passed the Exit Examination approved by D.G Shipping with min 60% marks
