NCAA Tournament Title Favorites

As we head into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA March Madness Tournament, there is no better time than the present to discuss which teams have the best chances to win the National Championship. There are only a few games left before we can decide the National Champion so today we will be talking about a few teams that have a chance to win it all. In the two tournament games, he is averaging 28.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, three assists, and 0.5 steals while shooting extremely efficiently as he has shot at least 60 percent of his shots in both games. Gonzaga faced off against the Arkansas State Razorbacks in the Sweet Sixteen and then the winner of the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite Eight.

Arizona Wildcats (+600)

The Arizona Wildcats have been one of the more dominant teams in a pretty good PAC-12 Conference this season as they were able to get a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament and were placed in the South Region. They won against the Wright State Raiders 87-70 and then defeated the TCU Horned Frogs 85-80 in an overtime win. They are slated to face the Houston Cougars in the Sweet Sixteen and if they advance, would face the winner of the Michigan Wolverines and the Villanova Wildcats. It’s a tough road but nothing is easy in the tournament.

The Wildcats have something that a lot of collegiate programs only dream of: a solid guard, forward, and center trio to dominate games. Sophomore guard Bennedict Mathurin is leading the team as he is averaging 17.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and one steal per game. During the NCAA Tournament, he is averaging 24 points, 6.5 rebounds, two assists, and one steal per game. Even if he struggles, sophomore forward Azuolas Tubelis and junior center Christian Koloko are there to take over the game. It is extremely difficult to defend against all of that so go with them to win the National Championship and are getting pretty favorable odds.

The NCAA Tournament is a great way to take advantage of the squares in the market and with the biggest part of the mayhem over, we can finally get a gauge on these programs and their matchups. Understanding not only what teams are a good selection, but also why teams are a good selection is going to be that major difference between cashing in a winning ticket or losing your entire wager.
